The Pet Clinic of Rocky Mount opened it’s doors in 1975. Since then it has grown as a leader of companion animal care in Franklin county. Our 6000 square foot facility allows us to offer all aspects of pet care, from advanced medical and surgical care to boarding and grooming. We strive to communicate carefully with our clients about their pet’s needs. Through our years of experience in clinical practice and access to in house laboratory, radiographic and ultrasonic testing, we are able to diagnose and care for your sick or injured pet. We also provide a wide variety of preventative health services such as annual examinations, senior pet evaluations, dental cleaning, vaccinations and parasitic control options.
We know how important your pet is to you and your family because we are pet owners, too. Our staff enjoys spending time with animals – it’s part of who we are and why we work where we do. We strive to provide our patients with high quality, thorough and compassionate care – just as we would want for our own animals. We will take time to discuss your pet’s care with you, offering clear advice and options whenever possible. You will find that our team makes an effort to really get to know you and your pet. Building this personal relationship is important to us and is the foundation of a lifetime of quality medical care. We hope to be able to work with you and be your partner in providing for your pet’s needs throughout their lives.
“The Purity of a Person’s Heart can be Measured by the Way They Regard Animals”
The staff at the Pet Clinic are caring, responsible people selected for their willingness to put forth that extra effort to ensure that the care of your pet is of paramount importance. Ninety percent of our staff have been employed with us for 5 or more years. These independent people come together as a team to provide the very best in veterinary care. They work well together to ensure that each patient’s needs are met. A visit or stay away from home can be stressful for any pet, especially when ill or injured. Our staff makes every effort to help our patients feel as loved and comfortable as possible. Because so many of our staff members have been with us for a long time, they are able to really get to know your pets. They learn our patients’ temperaments, personalities, and likes and dislikes. Our veterinarian, licensed technicians, receptionists, kennel workers and groomers take the extra time to work with all the animals that visit us, trying to make them comfortable and relaxed in the new environment. A happy, relaxed pet is our goal; if the pet is content, then staff is easily able to look after them.
